RAWALPINDI (manend News) To mobilise party workers for the the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will visit Rawalpindi on Wednesday on his way back from Lahore to Peshawar.

To welcome him, the PTI will establish three camps on main roads in Rawalpindi district, including Gujar Khan, Rawat and Khayaban-i-Sir Syed on Karnal Sher Khan Road.

Talking to Dawn, PTI District Rawalpindi President Chaudhry Ameer Afzal Khan said that KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would arrive from Lahore via the Grand Trunk Road and address party workers in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum and Rawalpindi before returning to Peshawar.

“In Rawalpindi, the party decided that the workers will gather at Gujar Khan, Rawat and Khayaban-i-Sir Syed. The CM wanted to visit Rawalpindi city and The Mall, but the local chapter informed him that Peshawar Road and The Mall would not be accessible due to construction work at Race Course Park,” he said.
