Kabal (Daily Paklish News Desk) So far, 14 people have been confirmed to be martyred in the explosion in the Kabal area of Swat, of which the bodies of 9 martyrs have been confirmed by the Central Hospital Saidu Sharif, while the bodies of 5 martyrs have been confirmed by the doctors of the Kabal Hospital.
On the instructions of Director General Rescue 1122 Shah Fahad, Rescue 1122 Swat is engaged in rescue operations under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Swat Shoaib Mansoor. 13 ambulances of Rescue 1122 Swat and more than 45 rescue personnel are participating in the rescue operation. Rescue 1122 has provided immediate medical assistance to more than 15 injured people and is being shifted to various hospitals, while the rescue operation is still ongoing.

DIG Malakand Syed Fida Hussain told Geo News that according to initial investigations, the attacker was allegedly trying to enter the Kabal police station.
He said that the police personnel on duty stopped the attacker in time, after which he blew himself up near the gate of the police station. According to the authorities, due to this timely action, the attacker could not enter the police station, which possibly prevented further casualties.
According to DPO Swat Muhammad Omar, a human head was also found at the site of the explosion, which is suspected to be that of the alleged suicide bomber.
Forensic experts and the bomb disposal unit have started collecting evidence from the scene to determine the nature of the explosion, the explosives used and the identity of the attacker.
After the incident, the police and other law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, while security has been tightened in the police station and surrounding areas.
