‎‎Faisalabad, (daily paklish): Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that fuel supplies have been disrupted due to the war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, while the US-Iran war has affected economies across the world.

‎Addressing a ceremony, Rana Sanaullah expressed hope that the war between Iran and the United States would come to an end and that the lifting of sanctions on Iran would lead to a reduction in petroleum prices. He said that Pakistan had made all-out efforts to prevent the war. He added that the ongoing regional tensions were affecting the global economy, while Pakistan was also facing various challenges due to the situation. The war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz had disrupted fuel supplies, with consequences for the global economy.

‎Rana Sanaullah further said that roads, schools and hospitals in Faisalabad had been constructed during the PML-N government. He said that his party had won the 2018 general elections, but was not allowed to form the government. He added that during the four years of the PTI government, not even a single kilometre of road was constructed, and instead of undertaking development projects, the opposition was subjected to political victimisation.
