DOHA, (DAILY PAKLISH): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Commander of the Lakhwiya Internal Security Force.
During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas related to internal security.
Both Interior Ministers agreed to further strengthen the security partnership between Pakistan and Qatar.
The meeting also covered the prevailing regional situation and matters concerning regional peace and stability. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between their respective Ministries of Interior.
It was decided to further enhance mutual cooperation and partnership in the field of internal security.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan and Qatar were working together to promote regional peace and stability.
The Qatari Interior Minister stated that Qatar attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan.
