BY RAHMATULLAH SWATI TIMERGARA Free Medical Camp Held for Children with Cleft Lip and Palate; 30 Referred to Lahore for Surgery
A one-day free medical camp for children suffering from congenital cleft lip and cleft palate was organized at Alkhidmat Hospital Timergara, Zawal Baba, in collaboration with Arif Memorial Hospital Lahore.
The camp was inaugurated by Alkhidmat Foundation Lower Dir President Hafizullah Khaksar, Alkhidmat Hospital Timergara Director Majidullah, and renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Faisal.During the camp, specialist doctors conducted detailed medical examinations of 55 children. Following the screening process, 30 children were selected for further treatment and surgery at Arif Memorial Hospital Lahore.According to the organizers, all expenses related to surgery, accommodation, meals, and other necessities will be borne by Arif Memorial Hospital Lahore, ensuring that deserving families are not subjected to any financial burden.The joint initiative of Alkhidmat Hospital Timergara and Arif Memorial Hospital Lahore has been hailed as a commendable step towards serving humanity, providing quality healthcare to underprivileged children, and bringing positive changes to their lives.
