Islamabad(Manend News) Pakistan has introduced “war austerity plans” following the global oil crisis in the wake of the US-Israel war on Iran.

PM Sharif announced on Monday night that all government offices would work a four-day week, schools and colleges would remain closed for the next two weeks, and higher education institutions would continue online learning, Dawn reported.

The report said he asked “all public and private firms to ensure that 50 percent of their staff work from home … All government and official vehicles would receive 50 percent less fuel for the next two months.”

He also announced a 25 percent salary cut for all parliamentarians.
